ReSkills has security protocols in place to help keep your account secure. However, we do recommend that you take the following measures to reduce the risk of your account being compromised:
- Use a strong password:
- At least 6 characters long. The longer the password, the harder it can be to crack.
- Contains a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special symbols.
- Avoid using sequential letters or numbers (eg abcdefg, 1234567 etc).
- Avoid repeating letters or numbers (eg aaaaaaa, 8888888 etc).
- Avoid words that are related to our site (eg ReSkills, OnLive etc), words or numbers that are related to you (eg your name, your birth date etc), and words that are commonly used across the internet (eg web, password, account etc).
- Avoid using the same password for multiple sites. This way, if your account in 1 platform is compromised, you can prevent others from gaining access to other accounts that you have across the internet.
- Avoid sharing your ReSkills account details with others.
- If you’re accessing ReSkills from a public or shared device, kindly be sure to log out of your account after you’re done.
- If a device that you used to access ReSkills is lost or stolen, change your password immediately.
- If you suspect any fraudulent or suspicious activity in your account, kindly report it to ReSkills via email right away.
